the flying biscuit

this morning i went to the flying biscuit for breakfast with my dear friend staci. at 10 am. on a wednesday. it was actually packed and i wondered, do any of these people have jobs? but we were there too, so they must also work in libraries or hospitals or places of that nature. so it was AWESOME. if you live in charlotte and haven't been, you should. i got an oatmeal pancake with peach "compote" whatever that means. then when we were leaving the server said, would you guys like coffees to go? yes. and then she brought us like 20 oz to go mugs of coffee. which we sat at the table and drank for the next 45 minutes.

it was a delight.

i had the piedmont omelet--it's 3 eggs, chicken sausage and turkey bacon, sauteed onions & cheese--a fruit cup and a whole wheat biscuit with apple butter and i ate every last morsel. it was soooooooogood. i was also into parts of our waitress's hair do.

"parts" of her hairdo? so you didn't like the whole thing but just parts of it?

flying biscuit is my FAV breakfast place in the ATL. Sometimes, I'll go there for lunch- but don't tell anyone. It's rediculously close to work, and I may or may not be obsessed.

Now that Charlotte has one, I guess there's no reason to come visit me anymore. That, and the fact that I've haven't actually talked to you in forever. I'm coming to Charlotte in a couple weeks. Like March 14th or something. Will you be around?
